Females listening to the qiraat of males

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it okay for me to listen to rijaal voice for Qur’an? I don’t have any specific Qari but my tajweed isn’t good so I downloaded mp3 version of the whole Qur’an–rijaal voice. If it is permissible, which Imam/Qari should I listen to?

Bismillaah

A: It is permissible provided there is no fear of fithna. It will be better for you to listen to the recitation of a Qari that has passed away e.g. Shaikh Baasit.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
