Spouses maintaining total transparency in whatever they do

Q: Is a husband allowed to hide passwords of his social network chats from his wife. Does the wife have a right to know with whom and what is he chatting if the contacts include non mahrams also?

A: In this day and time it is important that both the spouses maintain total transparency in all that they do.
