Listening to Qur’an without wudhu

Q: I have a few Surahs recorded on my cell phone and I have kind of developed a habit of listening to it when I go to bed at night. Is it okay and is wudhu compulsory? Please advise.

A: Yes, wudhu is not compulsory.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
