Q: Why is the index finger called ‘shahadat ki ungli’?

Bismillaah

A: It is called ‘shahadat ki ungli’ because in tashahhud one raises it at the time of reciting the Shahaadatain.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
