Q: I love a person and I wish to marry him. Kindly please make istakhara for me if he is the right person or not.
A: In the issue of nikaah, Islam encourages a woman to consult her parents. She should seek their guidance and advice before embarking upon anything. She should not act independently as this will lead to problems and difficulties coming about in her life. If your parents are pleased with the boy, his Deen, character and mannerisms, then you may get married to him.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
