Next year the elections will take place in USA. One of the candidates might be a lady and the other one may not be good to vote for. So in Islam is it jaiz to vote for a lady? And how about this situation, does it change anything?

There is a Hadith in Sahih Bukhari Sharif:
لن یفلح قوم ولّوا امراةً (بخاري)
It means that a nation can never succeed which chooses a woman as its ruler. Now, you yourself can decide in view of the Hadith.
