Should one leave the row to make wudhu if they pass air during salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Jazakallah khair..My question is that if a person standing in the first or in the middle row in salah, passes the air unwillingly, what should he do?should he come out of the row to make wudhu or continue his salah and then make wudhu to complete the salah? please advise.

Answer

(Fatwa: 720/426=H/1430)

He should leave salah as soon as the wind passes. If he can go back easily, he should perform wudhu again and offer salah anew. But, if it is difficult to go back, he should leave salah and sit quietly. Later, when he finds time, should go out, perform wudhu and salah again. He should not continue salah after passing the wind. There is one way of rejoining the salah, but it has some details, it is better for common people to perform salah again and if the imam is still in salah he should join the salah as masbooq  and perform the remaining rak?ah after the salam of imam.
