Is the meat and milk of a Jersey cow permissible according to Islamic law?

Yes, its milk and meat is halal as those of cow are halal. Jersey cow also moos like a cow, eats grass like a cow, resembles the cow and most importantly it is born out of cow. In animals the lineage system is attributed to mothers i.e. if cow breeds a calf it will be regarded cow whether it is born from the semen of any other animal.
