asslaamalekum…. plz tell me that wearing gold for men is haraam but if any men wears platinum or silver ring with diamonds….is this haraam….!! I have listen that only 2 masay silver ring is allowed for mens but if anyone avoid gold but use platinum or other metal related with jwellery & diamond….should be allowed or not or this is also haraam….becoz I hav also listen from many peoples that if anyone men wears gold then he will feel prior to another man…but in our day to day life we go through many items becoz of lifestyle they all becom necessary….is this also wrong…plz tell me & clarify all the situation… allah hafiz

It is not lawful for men to wear jewelleries and ring other than silver and that too should weigh only 3.5 mashah (gram). Hence, men are not allowed to wear the jewelleries of gold, platinum or other metal and diamond. A Muslim should follow Islamic teachings. He should not spoil his hereafter by falling down in the revels and gaiety of the world.
