Can I use copyrighted material without paying the owner, or give sadaqah instead?

I have downloaded a lot of copyright materials from internet like books, video lectures, audio and software. These are mainly related to pharmacy studies and language learning materials of Arabic, French, German etc. Usually this content is uploaded by people who have purchased them or downloaded themselves from one website and upload on other websites. My question is that am I allowed to use such material, if no, in some case it is not possible to pay the copy right owner then can I give the equivalent amount as sadaqah and use the book?
