I have joined an oil company and have came to qatar from pakistan.Here as told by the company I have to go to oil fileds on wells where their a toxic gas (h2s)which if inahled in samll quantity can kill a man instantaneously .to keep save from this man has to wear mask .But I have beard of about one inch(naturally) on which mask does not fit and gas leakes to mouth from it .company has asked me to shorten my berad upto the lenght at which gas cannot leak.I have left my country and the job their and in very difficult situation form many days.Can I shaorten my beard for some time untill I may find new Job.Please hlep What is Islamic point of view in this, please reply soon.

It is obligatory to keep beard to fistful length, you should grow beard to this length. There is no difficulty to wear mask in a way that gas could not leak out. You should never trim your beard but grow it as per the Shariah order. You should neither get upset over it nor need to search another job, as Allah Almighty says:
ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا و يرزقه من حيث لايحتسب (سورة الطلاق)
