I am secretary of our masjid. In our masjid we are reconstructing our masjid toilet. My question is can we get interest money from musallis, that is if one person has done fixed deposit in a bank and bank gives interest on that amount he brings that interest amount and gives to us. Can we accept that amount to build the toilet of our masjid?

It is not lawful to use the amount of interest to construct the toilet in the mosque from the interest amount which is received on fixed deposit.
