Is it permissible in Islam to give laccha (gold ornament with black stone in it) worth 20 gm as Mahar in Nikah? Is it must and should to tie poth (made of black pearls) during nikah on bride’s neck? Kindly reply as per Shariah.

Yes, it is alright to give laccha of 20 gram gold as mahr, but it is not necessary to tie poth on bride’s neck during nikah ceremony, you can also make her wear the same after later.
