MY husband has committed some kufria wordings and now we would like to renew nikah (tajdeed e nikah), so is it possible to perform nikah personally in the absence of witnesses (gawah)?

You can renew your iman (faith) even without witnesses, but you cannot renew you nikah without witnesses.
