There is a family of 7 brothers and 3 sisters that own some property. 1 brother passed away, 4 brothers are well off while 1 brother is rich and the other brother who is poor and has a daughter that works is suffering from cancer. His brothers suggest that he takes zakah from a zakah organization for the treatment of his cancer. Despite their situation, my question is that is it permissible for him to take zakah from the organization?

The brother who is poor and is entitled to receive zakah may take zakah money and may spend the money for the treatment of his daughter. Those brothers who are rich they should also support their poor brother.
