Can someone do Umrah for another person who is still alive?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to do umrah on behalf of someone who is alive.[1]
