Wearing of taaweez in the bathrooon? men and jewelery?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

i have to wear a taaweez for my female problem. In the taaweez, there is an aayat written on a piece of paper wrapped in plastic and then stiched and covered in a black cloth, CAN I wear it in the bathroom? 2) can men wear any jewelery other than rings, ex. bracelet? Does it have to be only silver or can it also be regular metal (in silver color)?

Answer

1. Yes, this type of Taweez may be worn in a bathroom.

2. No, it is only permissible for men to wear pure silver rings equivalent to 4.5 Mashas (67.5 grains troy). Any other rings or jewellery, e.g. bracelets, etc. are not permissible for men to wear. (Bahishti Zewar vol.1)
