Is seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the form of bright light (noor) mean seeing him?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that if anyone sees him in his vision, he has truly seen him, for Satan can never disguise himself in the honorable form of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Is seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the form of bright light (noor) also mean seeing him? Please do script me some duas/prayers for getting married!

Answer

1) In principle, if a person is confident that he had seen the prophet in his vision in whatever condition, then verily such a person had seen the prophet.

2) We suggest you often recite verse 29 of surah Al Muminoon.
