Are we to face the Kaaba while reading the Quran and wudhu necessary before touching the Quran?

Answer:

1. It is Mustahabb (desirable) and not necessary to face the Ka’bah whilst
reciting the Qur’aan.
2. It is necessary to perform Wudhu before touching the noble Qur’aan.
