My question is: is it right for a Muslim man to go to gym & do the act of body building?

It is ok, and with good intention it is an act of reward as well, as the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said:
إنما الأعمال بالنیات
?The actions are governed by intentions.?
