Can I Pass in Front of Someone Who Is Praying Out of the Row?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Answered by Shaykh Yusuf Weltch

Question

What is the ruling of walking in front of someone who is praying while sticking out of the row?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.

If one is praying in congregation, regardless of whether the follower is sticking out of the row, there is no sin in crossing in front of them. Only the Imam is considered with regards to the rules of passing in front of someone in prayer. [Tahawi/Shurunbulali, Hashiyat Maraqi al-Falah]
