Can Zakaat be calculated on money in MCU (Muslim Credit Union) that cannot be withdrawn at this time? Also, can Zakaat be calculated on the Hajj fund in Takaaful?

Wa Alaikum Assalaam,
A: Yes, zakaah will be calculated on the money in the MCU because there is hope of receiving it. Zakaah will be calculated on the Hajj fund as long as it is not used for the Hajj.
