Pig material in paint and brush used in Masjid’s wudhu khana

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulUloomTT.net

Question:
The wudhu khana in the masjid where I am has had a thermoplastic undercoat paint applied to the floor and wall. Since paint and paint brushes can contain pig material, and it is unlikely that the builders would have been cognisant of this issue

1. what is the ruling of performing wudhu in the wudhu khana?

2. Does the jamat khana carpet become napaak if people walk there with wet feet from the wudhu khana?

There are alternative masajid in the area

Answer:
As Salaamu Alaikum,
1) It will be permissible to perform Wudhu in the Wudhu Khana.
2) The carpet of the Jamaat Khana will not become napaak (impure) if people walk with their wet feet from the wudhu khana.
There is no need to go to another Masjid on account of this concern.
And Allah knows best,
