Sitting on a chair in the musjid before or after salaah

Q: Can a healthy person sit on a chair in the masjid after namaz or before namaz? Is this a sin or not?

Bismillaah

A: It is not a sin. However, he should avoid this. It is not in keeping with the adab of the musjid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
