We have an old mosque in village Anwarabad, Sonai, Mathura which is small and on the verge of collapse. We are scared for dismantling it as it might be against Islamic law. Kindly advise for its dismantle and erecting new spacious mosque or we should retain its present structure and renovate it. The program has been held for want of authentic opinion.

If it is feared that the old mosque will collapse down then the people of locality may demolish it and construct big and concrete mosque again. According to Shariah the people of the locality are allowed to do so.
