Alhamdulillah, I have two daughters (10 years and 9 months old). My question is if I purchase two plots and 20 tolas of gold biscuits for marriage expenses of my beloved daughters, will zakah be due on these investments.

If you are buying the plot with the intention that you shall sell it and meet the expenses of marriage with it and will keep the plot and the gold biscuit in your possession then you will have to pay the zakah of both the plots and 20 tolas of gold.
