Q: My question is in connection with reciting the last aayah (24) of surah qasas for a good spouse. Can one read the aayah with intention of it being with one specific person?

Bismillaah

A: The Aayah that is generally recited for a pious and suitable spouse is the following aayah of Surah Qasas. It can be recited for a specific person.

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيْر

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
