Can I Stay with My Husband After He Said ‘Talaq’ Multiple Times?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My husband has said many times “I won’t do this or that, if do it then you are divorced – talaq”. He has said it many times and still he did what he said he won’t do without thinking. Now, he has said that more then 5 times and did everything that he had swore on. Has the talaaq taken place? How can I
still stay with him if talaaq has taken place.

Bismillaah

A: If he had done this three times or more and every time he had carried out the action upon which he had suspended the talaaq, then three talaaqs had taken place. You had come out of his nikah from the time the third talaaq had occurred.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
