False allegations against the Ulama’ of Deoband

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:

1. Many people say that the Deobandi founders like Shaykh Rashid Gangohi and others compare the knowledge of the Prophet to a madman. Please reply.

2. Salafies claim that deobandis do not consider the whole Quran Shareef as a speech of Allah. Is it true?

Bismillaah

A: These are all false allegations and accusations leveled against these great buzrugaane-e-Deen. We would appreciate if you could source out these statements from their original sources in their correct context, written by the author himself (not relying on mere translations written by others who wish to defame them). If one is unable to do so, then one should understand that this is nothing but a false allegation and slander against the respect of a believer without proof. We are all aware of the severe consequence that one will face in the hereafter on account of slandering an innocent Mu’min.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
