Reversing a promise made to Allah Ta’ala

Q: If I have made a promise to Allah, is there a way to reverse what I said or void the promise?

Bismillaah

A: You should be sincere and loyal to Allah Ta’ala. If the promise was in relation to leaving out a sin then you should fulfil your promise and do not disobey Allah Ta’ala.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
