Is it okay to recite istighfaar and observe taqwah for financial and other world problems?

Q: I am reciting istighfaar and observing taqwah to get rid of my world problems like financial and other. Is this niyyat ok when reciting istighfaar and observing taqwah for these problems?

Bismillaah

A: Yes. However, do it mainly considering it as an obligation to Allah Ta`ala and the worldly means are just a bonus.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
