Q: In Surah An’aam verse 128, it is mentioned that “Jinn and men made profit from each other”. Please explain what kind of profit they made and the reason for their punishment in the fire.
A: Men got some of their works done through jinnaat, for example jinnaat can cover long distances in a short time, man profited in this way that some work gets done in a short time. The jinnaat also benefited, for they had seen that insaan is respecting them and holding them in high esteem because of some of the services they had offered.
