Q: If you get tears when you think positively about Allah or you get tears out love for Allah, is that good thing or sign of iman? I know people get tears when they fear Allah, what about when you get tears when you love Allah?
A: It is a good thing. It is a sign of mahabbat for Allah Ta`ala. Love for Allah is a very high level of imaan.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
