Nike, Adidas and other products

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Some Muslims say that Nike, Adidas, Puma (Puma is an imitating shadow of a South American tiger without detailed organs such as eyes, etc.) products are not permissible. Which of these are halal or haram?

Bismillaah

A: We understand that these symbols are symbols of pagan gods or are related in some how to satanism etc. If this can be established then those symbols must be deleted.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
