(1) Please clarify, how the property will be distributed between three brothers and one sister, and what ratio of dividend will be between all?
(2) It is also to be clarified that a mother is having her dividend from her parental house and in case of her death will the son be entitled for that property or only daughter is entitled? In such situation what will be the distribution to her children?

Answer
(Fatwa: 1582/1232/B=1433)
(1) If there are only three brothers and one sister as the heirs of the dead person and there is none except them then all the property of the dead shall be divided into 7 shares. Out of the total, 2-2 shares shall go to each brother and 1 share to the sister.
(2) After the death of mother, both her son and daughter shall be her heirs and entitled to receive their shares in her property, only the daughter shall not be entitled. The son shall get double of the daughter’s share, as it was mentioned in answer 1.
