Is it Possible to Sell or Exchange the Current Eidgaah to Accommodate More People for Prayers?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
In my village, there is a Eidgaah where we perform both Eid and Baqr-Eid Prayers. But the large number of people cannot perform in it because it is too small. And also there is no room at both the sides so that it can be extended. So we want to know that can this Eidgaah be sold and another land can be bought. Or can it be exchanged with another land? Please reply soon. It is an urgent Mas?alah. Thanks

To sell the Eidgah or replace it to any other land is not right. Yes, if the space of Eidgah is not enough for those praying Eid Salah, then all the people of village should unanimously construct a mosque on the place of Eidgah and build a new Eidgah with their donations.
