In Bangladesh, 15 days before the Ramadan which is known as Shabe Barat , many people and imam pass this day with prayer whole night. what Quran and hadith says about this day. Is this night contents special benefit. Think you will give me the right answer according to Quran and Hadith.

Several traditions of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) indicate the virtue of this night; therefore it is desirable to offer prayers in this night:
ومن المندوبات ۔۔ احیاء لیلۃ العیدین والنصف من شعبان الخ (الدر المختار مع الشامی: 2/469)
But, it is not right to observe this night collectively with so much attention and arrangements.
