When Can I Deem Pure the Floor of My House?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Answered by Ustadh Tabraze Azam

Question: Assalam alaykum

We had builders in our house and they urinated on the floor of our bathroom and toilet seat. Someone volunteered to clean it. After removing the physical traces with a tissue they started spraying water much greater than the impure area.

How should we sort this out since they covered almost half the floor in water when cleaning?

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

You should deem the floor purified as the basis when it comes to visible filth is that the item or area is considered pure after its removal.

Ignore misgivings.

And Allah Most High alone knows best.
