Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ZamzamAcademy.com

1. If you are fasting, and you cut your finger and it bleeds, does that break your fast? 2. If you put eye drops does it break your fast? 3. Does using toothpaste break your fast even though you spit it out?

Assalamu alaykum

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious Most Merciful

1. Bleeding externally from any part of the body does not break your fast. Hence, the fast was not broken when the finger bled.

2. Eye drops do not break your fast either.

3. Using toothpaste is makruh during a fast as long as it is not swallowed. If swallowed, it will break the fast. The teeth should be brushed before the suhur time expires. Then the miswak should be used during the day.

And Allah knows best.
