Q. Does a man have to wear a hat to perform Salaat?
A. It was the constant practice of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam to peform Salaah with a Head gear (Topee).
Hence, it is Sunnah for males to wear a head gear (Topee) whilst performing Salaah.
