Should I start a Hifz course?

Question:

Salaamwalaykum

I am looking to do a hifz course inshallah. Many people have told me that it is very hard and requires lots of dedication. I dont want to do something that is out of my capabilities

please sheikh advice me

Walaikumussalam w w

Check out how many Surahs you know by heart and how well you know them. Do you know Surah Yaseen, Surah Mulk, Surah Waqiah, and Surah Kahf by heart? If yes, can you read them without excessive mistakes?

If yes, then go on to memorise the whole Qur’an. Inshallah Allah will make it easy for you and join you with the huffaze kiraam on the day of qiyamah.

If you don’t know the Surahs mentioned above, memorize them first and see how you cope with them. If you feel alright then go ahead with the rest of the quran, otherwise do some Alim class.
