Touching items with hands that are napaak but dried

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

Question

Assalamu-alaikum, if my hands have touched something napaak (such as sperm), if I dry my hands but do not wash them and then touch a peice of clothing does that clothing become napaak aswell?

Jazakallah khair.

Answer

No, when your hands are dry and then they touch something, then the napaaki does not transfer, so the clothes, door handle, etc. do not become napaak.
