Permissibility to Ruju in Case of Revocable Divorce

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Asslamoalaikum!!! Thank you so much for the answer. But I still have one confusion that me and my husband living separate from last two years … Is it still possible that we can do nikaah.. I mean in some cases of divorce there is only 3 months period in which a husband can ruju  to his wife but if that 3 months period is passed and the couple still separate then complete divorce takes place.. I am just confused in my case that does time period effects or we can perform nikaah any time?

الجواب وبالله التوفيق

You can perform a new Nikah now or any time in your life in order to start living together. It is haram(impermissible) to live together without performing new Nikah.
