Vegan Products and Silk Clothing

Assalām’alaikum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuhu,

 
1. Some products say they are certified vegan, like bread and vitamins. Does that mean it is halal for me to eat them?
 
2. Is it permissible for men to wear synthetic silk clothing?

الجواب وبالله التوفيق 

  1. It is Halal to eat Vegan
  2. It is permissible to wear dresses which are made of non-silk cloth. If wearing clothes made of synthetic silk gives a perception of silk then it is better not to wear them.
