Question: When showering for the fard ghusl (or the wudhu under under a tap) the pressure will cause the water to splash from the body back on to the body. Will this water be considered pure and not purifying because it is used? How will we distinguish the two types of water when they have been mixed together and are a small amount in these two cases of shower and tap?

I pray that you are well, insha’Allah.
According to the Hanafi school, during the ritual bath (ghusl), the body is considered akin to a single limb, therefore it would be valid to wash oneself with the water which has fallen off a limb to another. [Halabi, Halabi Saghir]
As for the ritual ablution (wudu), after washing one’s hands, the water will not become used by using them (i.e to wash one’s other limbs). Therefore, one simply completes one’s ablution.
Be careful of wasting water and ignore any baseless misgivings.
