Question: I joined my online work meeting and my camera switched on accidentally. I am afraid that many of my male workmates might have seen my hair. Have I sinned? What can I do?

I pray this finds you well. May Allah reward you for seeking that which pleases Him.
Balance
Alhamdulilah, accidents like what you have experienced are excused. Moving forward, please take steps to prevent this from happening again. Perhaps you can place a sticker on your computer camera, or change your camera settings so that it does not switch on automatically during a conference call.
Remember to balance caution out of love for Allah with complete confidence in Allah’s Mercy. May Allah increase you in goodness and draw you ever closer to Him.
