How Can I Avoid To Spread Impurities?

Question: As salaam alaykum

One of the children urinated on a mat outside the bathroom. I believe I saw a small area of dampness on the actual carpet near where the large amount of impurity was (2mm in diameter). When I went later to examine it I could not see the dampness. As this is outside the bathroom often one will come out with wet feet from bath/ wudu and I am concerned that if we stand in this area we will spread impurity. What should we do?

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I pray that you are in the best of health and faith, insha’Allah.

There are two things:

(1) Don’t investigate into such matters. It is far-fetched that you saw dampness which was 2mm in diameter.

(2) if the ground dries, and there are no traces of impurity, the ground is considered to be pure.

And Allah alone gives success.
