Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Can a Muslim wear a necklace, ring, etc that has the name of Allah written on it during her everyday life?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the Name of Allah, with blessings & peace on the Beloved of Allah, and his folk and all lovers of Allah

Walaikum assalam,

Yes, it is permitted for women to wear such jewelry. [Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar] However, it needs to be covered up (or taken off) before entering toilets. [ibid.; Shurunbulali, Imdad al-Fattah]

And Allah alone gives success.

Wassalam.

Faraz Rabbani.
