Raising one’s voice in silent prayer

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

i was wondering if it is possible for a woman to pray her salah slightly out loud, only when she is praying alone, as this helps me concentrate? i sometimes tend to pray out aloud because it keeps me focused on my salah and its only when im on my own, is this wrong???

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.

There is nothing wrong in slightly raising one’s voice (in a loud whisper), if it aides one’s concentration. [ Tahtawi/Shurunbulali, Hashiyat Maraqi al-Falah ]

And Allah alone gives success.
