Proof of Eid Takbirs (takbirat al-tashriq) in the Form Preferred by the Hanafis

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

What is the proof for saying:

ALLAHU EKBER ALLAHU EKBER LA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAA-HU WAL-LAA-HU EKBER ALLAHU EKBER WA-LIL-LAA-HIL HAMD

in the Tashrik Takbeers?

Did the Prophet SAW and Sahabah R.Anhum also recited this ? Is there prophetic hadeeths for proof?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.

The preferred form of the takbirs of the Eid days (takbirat al-tashriq) is authentically related from Ali and Ibn Mas`ud (Allah be pleased with them) in the Musannaf of Ibn Abi Shayba, [Ibn al-Humam, Fath al-Qadir]. This form was also the general inherited practice of the Umma from the earliest generations, and such inherited practice is proof. [al-Muhit al-Burhani]

And Allah alone gives success.
